Martin Bosley, one of New Zealand’s finest chefs, has created and matched recipes specifically to pair with each of the Blind River wines.
Food and wine pairing should be fun and enjoyable, not something to be scared off – at the end of the day, if you like it then it works! Ingredients and recipes that are said to ‘match’ a particular wine just take into account the flavours, weight and balance of the wine and select ingredients with similar qualities, or vice versa. The idea is for the dish and the wine to complement each other, rather than have one dominate the other.
