The restaurant itself is very charming with a charming interior featuring a large fireplace and ample seating, boasting some of the more memorable bottles from around town – including their namesake Cabernet, an excellent rose wine, and dry red. There is also a good selection of beer and wine available. Perfect for spending an afternoon reading and tasting delicious wine.
At Cafe Bella it’s the perfect spot for family meals or intimate events, featuring classics paired with modern cuisine and an impressive wine list. At the front counter the sommelier can help select which of their many offerings best meet your tastes and budget, while food quality surprisingly surpasses that of most small towns; though slightly pricier it provides an unforgettable eat and drink experience!
3. Blind River Winery
Blind River Winery is a family owned and operated winery situated in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They provide an ideal setting for relaxing wine tasting experiences or picking up bottles to take home with them!
Their winery is nestled deep within the woods and boasts a cozy tasting room and picnic tables for tastings. Inside has an eclectic feel with hipster music and mismatched stemware; while outside boasts an attractive gazebo and firepit with hanging petunia baskets as beautiful scenery.
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly as they guided us through their selection of wines. Additionally, there is a membership program which gives free tastings every visit as well as discounts off their wines! Prices were fair while quality of their wine was outstanding.

4. Rapaura Springs
Rapaura Springs Winery offers the perfect escape to relax and unwind with a glass of wine. Nestled along the Mississippi River’s widest point bluffs, this family run establishment features an inviting tasting room as well as a sprawling 6.5 acre vineyard to discover. Additionally, live music performances take place every Sunday afternoon during summer.
The small tasting room is cozy and welcoming with plenty of seating and high top tables, offering an extensive selection of wines at great price points and boasting knowledgeable bar staff that provide friendly assistance.
Their wine sommelier was very knowledgeable of all available wines and extremely helpful in selecting one to meet our individual preferences. All the bottles we tried were outstanding – I would strongly suggest this venue!
This boutique winery specializes in Burgundian style wines such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sparklers. Though only producing less than 10,000 cases each year, their quality surpasses that of larger wine companies while their prices are very affordable.
